Pines Retreat - Charming Getaway

This is our family’s getaway from the busy-ness of everyday life. There’s so much fun to experience nearby, whether it’s a day at Sly Park, Apple Hill, or skiing at Sierra-at-Tahoe. This cozy A-frame cabin features one bedroom, one bathroom, and a spacious loft. Spend quiet mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee. A well-stocked kitchen is provided for those who enjoy home-cooked meals. Enjoy fast internet, streaming TV, and so much more.

Access the house through an easy-to-use keypad. There are steps to the front porch. The main floor has one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom. Feel free to use the washer and dryer located in the bathroom. The open loft has a queen bed, as well as two twin beds.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, coffee machine, electric kettle, and basic spices (s/p, garlic powder, etc.).

The living room has a sectional that comfortably seats 6. Enjoy your favorite streaming services on the 55” TV and dvd player. Off the living room is a large deck with a comfortable 6-person patio set.

4-wheel drive is highly recommended during the snow season

Peaceful pines
Lovely house nestled in a relaxing and quiet community offering all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Spacious rooms and a lovely veranda to return home to after a day’s activities to relax and enjoy the setting sun. Pollock Pines is the perfect location to access the various trails within the El Dorado Forest and less than an hour’s drive away from Lake Tahoe and all that it has to offer.

Beautiful little cabin and enjoyed our stay. Would recommend providing an unopened sponge for washing dishes for new guests. Also, sew magnets in the corners of the curtains over downstairs bed or something to hold them shut. I would recommend this VRBO for convenience to lake and shopping and overall cabin feel.

Great accommodations and beautiful setting
This location was perfect! The house is set in a lovely, pine woods. It is very clean, comfortable and the owner was very accommodating. It took a bit of “fussing around” to master the Nest thermostat, but we got it. There were helpful instructions and plenty of everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay very much! Many thanks!

Great Cabin Getaway Close to Town
My family had a blast at the cabin. We enjoyed the video collection and watched a number of movies as a family. Kids loved sleeping upstairs in the loft and enjoyed the large bean bag. Only downside to our stay was the lack of BBQ Tools and Ziploc Bags. It would've been nice to have some more coffee mugs too for Hot Chocolate!!! The pellet stove was awesome!!!

This cabin was so cozy and clean. It had a great back yard for sledding, lots of privacy, and super peaceful. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, we had a great time. The check in and check out processes were beyond easy. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway!

Great Cabin in Pollock Pines!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely, immaculate cabin home. It was perfect for the two of us, but it’s nice that there are the extra beds upstairs to accommodate more people if you are traveling with kids, etc. The property sits amongst tall, beautiful pine trees. You can see the trees tops through the tall windows above the fireplace even when the patio door drapes are closed. Very relaxing, peaceful views out of every window! We didn’t actually use the deck, but it’s nice that the house has an outdoor space to sit and have a cocktail, meals, or just to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The sectional sofa in the living room was nice and roomy to stretch out on while watching movies. The kitchen was nicely laid out, and the cabinet and counter finishes are really pretty. The Master bedroom bed was super comfy and cozy! The house is located in a very quiet residential area, so it’s very peaceful while sleeping at night. Parisa is an outstanding host! I had several communications with her prior to our trip, as well as afterwards. She is very responsive and exceptionally accommodating to her guests. We had a lovely time in her home! Highly recommended!

Beautiful home felt amazing
This home is SO much better in person. It’s so comfortable to sit on the couch and look up through the wall of windows with a view of the towering pines. We also love sitting on the quiet back deck at night and look up at all the stars! We felt safe and happy and will definitely try to come again very soon. Love this home.

Small family getaway
The cabin was extremely clean, organized, and beautiful from the inside and outside. the only issue was the gravel parkway that quickly because quicksand to our two big cars, luckily we were able to get it out of the gravel and park on the street. Besides that it was a wonderful vacation for my family to destress before heading back to the city
