Wonderful Cabin
We all very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the rope swing We would love to come back again.

Our Favorite Vacation Home
Just wow! The property is stunning. And the house has such a wonderful cabin vibe. So much space for kids to sleep (there are foldout couches in the play room). We loved the outdoor swing and played on it for hours. The property is fenced so dogs can run around. Also stocked with everything you could possibly need. So many small details that made the stay lovely including the medecine cabinet and fun magazines to read. Highly recommend!! We’ll be back!

It was a very nice cabin with lots of room. We brought our 4 dogs with us too. We enjoyed the many amenities offered by the cabin. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

Incredible place for a family gathering
We came here from Virginia to meet up with our two kids and their families and my wife's nephew and his family. The house is very well stocked with bath towels, beach towels, basic spices, games, and water toys for the lake. There are multiple places to gather -- front porch, reach deck, game room, living room -- so we never felt like we were on top of one another. We had 8 people for four days and 11 for 3 days. We want to come back!

wonderful retreat
The house was spacious and welcoming, and well-stocked with supplies. The kayaks, paddleboard and floaties were a big plus as was the proximity to the lake. Pool table and games provided fun social time for all ages. Alex promptly answered all my questions. Everything was in place, so our group only had to enjoy our time together. Would come again.

Fabulous Family Fun Time
We loved staying at this house with our extended family. The many sleeping options gave us the flexibility to give everyone a great nights rest. We really appreciated all the smaller details they had onsite like shampoo, trash bags, baggies, bug spray and laundry soap. It felt like a home and we didn't have to spend time heading to the store to refill these items. We were there 4th of July weekend and were lucky enough to get to enough Sly Lake because they included their annual pass with the rental when the lake was full to all day users. The AC units also kept up with the 114 degree heat wave which was the most fabulous surprise about this home. Thanks for thinking of all the details Alex!

Gorgeous log cabin with all the amenities
My husband and I traveled here from Arizona to visit our kids and grandkids and celebrate our newest grandchild’s first birthday. Our family loved all the games & activities in a beautiful, thoughtfully appointed cabin & setting, making memories that will last a lifetime. Our conversations around home cooked meals and in front of the huge river rock fireplace were topped off only by the gently falling snow, visible from the numerous tall windows. It was all quite breathtaking!

What a great place!
Stayed her for a family getaway weekend at Apple hill and everything was great! This was the best stocked kitchen at any property I’ve stayed at- had all the things. Alex made check in super easy, was accommodating and quick to respond! The rope swing was the highlight of the weekend of weekend for the kids. Great place overall- hope to stay again soon.

Overall, the stay was perfect. Adults/teens enjoyed the game room. We had a toddler who enjoyed exploring outside. The house was nicely organized and stocked with essentials. The location was convenient and close to the grocery store, lake, and apple hill. It rained during our stay, but that was okay! The house was comfy, and staying in was not a problem. We get our family together every year, and this year it was in wonderful Pollock Pines. The check-in process was very easy and the house fit everyone well. The tire swing in the back was a big hit with kids and adults alike!

Annual Family Vacation
Beautiful drive and privacy. The home is beautiful, my husband and our two adult daughter's and their families spent our vacation together. We saw deer on the property and the spaciousness was very enjoyable. We played games upstairs and had our meals together. The grandkids, and myself loved the swing. The information that is important for people reserving is the two bedrooms upstairs are small. There is sleeping available in game room which is where our teens slept. The set up for small children was very considerate our little one year old grandson loved all the animals. Thank you for sharing your home and property we made beautiful memories.

Great location
Great location and property. We love the swing. We love the pool table and poker table. We enjoy the place. It was a beautiful cabin. Will definitely book again in the future. The place was in the forest so obviously there are lots of bugs and mosquitoes. Make sure to bring bug spray. Most of the beds are comfortable but not the sofa beds. I think that’s because they’re just old.

Our entire family enjoyed the swing together, seeing who could swing the highest, sitting on the deck, bbqing, laughing playing games in game room and the pool table brought back so many fun memories! We felt at home! We want to come back next summer!

Great Cabin
We enjoyed our stay at Alexander's cabin. The house and the property were very nice and clean, there was plenty of room, and the place was well stocked with the essentials. A short drive to the lake made for a great trip. Will definitely consider staying here again if we are in the area.

Brought in the new year with family at this beautiful house! We had such a good time relaxing in front of the fire, making meals in the big kitchen, and shooting some pool. Alex was also great, showing us around the house and answering any questions. This is a spot we will definitely return to!

All the we hoped for!
This was the first time my sisters and I went on a trip with our families so it was so special for all of us and this house was absolutely perfect for to help us create wonderful memories! The property is gorgeous, the house is tucked away in trees and the large wall of windows looks out to the rope swing and 20+ acres of Forrest. We walked through the land. Swung in the rope swing, played bored games by the fire and were able to cook meals in the spacious kitchen. The playroom was clutch for the kids! Not only was is a great hang out, they all were able to sleep i. Their with a pull out couch, bunk beds and we brought small air mattress too. The house was clean and welcoming and we can’t wait to come back! There is a Safeway not far if you anything. Highly recommend! Thank you to Alex who was so easy to communicate with leading up to the trip and met us there to answer any questions & show us around.
