「The house was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake and the bridge. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the lake and having a full kitchen. On the negative side there was a distinct gas odor in the garage and I would have liked to have extra garbage bags and a few dish towels. I would definitely stay there again!」

「I want to start off by saying we did not feel unsafe at all! Some of these reviews are dramatic. It is behind an older hotel but it’s not scary and no one is going to get you. Cabin was new and clean. The door lock batteries died and we couldn’t get in but they came out to fix it within 5 minutes. I messaged the host on here a couple times and didn’t get any reply back so communication wasn’t that great. I would suggest to add a full length mirror, hooks for towels and a broom for indoors. 「This was a great cabin to stay in. Beautiful view, and a nice private beach. Front door sticks a little bit, and screen door didn't quite sit squarely, but I assume this is due to settling of the property foundation (as it is on the beach.) Overall clean and spacious cabin, and we look forward to returning next season.」

「It was a clean property. Perfect for 2 people anymore might be crowded. We were able to walk to the ferry and most restaurants. The sunrise is beautiful. Macinac Island was disappointing but I don't like shopping.」

「The property itself was clean but all around the property was filled with a lot of trash all the way down to the lake and all through the parking lot. You can hear through the walls like they're sitting next to you. We had to leave a day early due to a family emergency I sent that to the property owner but never got a response. We traveled over to the lower peninsula over the bridge it was much cleaner and much prettier, way better maintained.」
