「We couldn't have asked for a better spot. We rented both adjoining properties and had plenty of room for our large group of 32 people. Manfred was attentive to all of my msgs and responded quickly. The chef service was delicious and a blessing. The only thing I would change is add more days. The grounds staff was wonderful and friendly. We had some of our people get stuck in Tamarindo when a rain storm came in and the water taxis stopped running. We had to send cars to pick them up, but this...

「I hosted a women's movement and healing retreat and this place was perfect!! It was super private and serene. Our house chef, Alcira and her mom cooked every meal for us and the food was incredible. Manfred, the home owner, was responsive to our every need before and during our stay. Highly recommend this beautiful and unique property and location.」

「This house was great for 5 friends to get away for 10 days. We had a lot of rain, so surfaces were slippery, take care when feet are wet on ANY tile surface. The house Manager Shawna was wonderful, we were able to reach her in an instant. Shawna organized rides, massages, and even had someone come and dispose of a rather large living cucaracha in one of the showers. (note that the cucaracha was not injured during his eviction, just relocated...same as the spiders) The massage was incredible...

「We loved our stay. Although we encountered an unusual storm it didn’t affect the stunning view. Excellent access to Playa Flamingo and Potrero beaches and activities. The home is modern and clean. Gorgeous. 」

「The Host Ben is very responsive and kind. I wanted to experience living among the Ticos and we loved it. This place is unique and cozy for the 4 of us girls. There are some minor upgrades needed but we are so easygoing that it was not a bother. We survived a huge thunderstorm and no power for just a couple hours. The property has 2 cats. Also each bedroom has air conditioning and we enjoyed Netflix in the evening. This area is definitely a surf town and several restaurants walking distance....

「This place was great. Though Avellanas Beach was a short walk from the property, it felt secluded and remote. I could hear howler monkeys in the trees, which was cool. The house was gated and felt safe and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. I would gladly visit again.」

「We enjoyed a longer stay on this return trip. The villa is comfortable in every way, and the nearby pool and restaurant were convenient and a perfect complement to relaxing on the patio and enjoying the ocean views beyond. We especially enjoyed the many birds in the area this yea. 」

「First off, the pictures don't do justice to the interior decorations. The paint is not that garish in real life, the orange and green will not burn your eyes out, and the surfboards mounted on walls with high ceilings look great. The hosts left a little gift bag of coffee & wine to get started. I needed to go next the shop next door to pick up coffee filters & a corkscrew, but that was a minor detail. The location is perfect for dawn patrol surfing or simply walking on the beach at...

「Well kept colonial townhouse 5 min walk from the beach. Traveled with toddlers, so walking to the beach or up to the pool was a bit of a challenge. There’s some noise from the road, but we used WN to sleep, so didn’t really notice. The facilities are great, house had everything we needed. Would stay again.」

「Having a basically private pool for our toddler to play right outside the doorstep made this leg of our trip unbelievably wonderful. The condo is in a great location, there are lots of lovely neighbours, the best grocery store we found on our whole vacation was just up the street, and the walk down to the beach was always fun and entertaining. The condo itself is pretty simple and minimal—which is what we were expecting, thankfully.」
