"We booked and paid for 8 nights in advance but stayed for just 4 nights and found a better place in Grand World. Closer to the beach. The property managers were nice and helpful but not very generous with giving us a refund for the days we didn’t stay. We found the area poor in the choices of restaurants and stores. The restaurants only open after 11am in the mornings, surprising for a tourist oriented area. But that was consistent even in other areas of Phu Quoc. "

"Family business run by lovely hosts. There is a couple that runs the hotel and they are very attentive and polite. They offered me Christmas dinner on Christmas eve and the young son of the owener, which the hotel is named after, gave Christmas cards to all the guests which I thought was a lovely touch. However, the staff did not speak English and in addition they were absent most of the time during our 6 night stay. "Cute little hostel that's right in the centre of everything. It's a 5-10 min walk to the night market. When I booked this hostel, I thought it was right by the beach. However, you do have to walk a little bit and go through another hotel's entrance to get to the beach. When I first arrived at the other hotel's entrance, I thought I wasn't allowed there and returned back. It can be a little confusing to find.
