“Hidden gem in the Peloponnes! Lovely pool; long enough to swim a few laps. Quiet rural area just 10 minute drive to Methoni and the beach there. Gorgeous self-catering accommodation (they’ve started doing breakfast hampers too); the villas arent on top of each other so you’ve got a very decent amount of privacy. “The hotel is beautiful and all staff are very polite and friendly. Our room and ensuite were spotlessly clean and we loved the seaview from the balcony. Breakfast was good value for money. “I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature.
