「A fab stay for a group of nurse’s for our pre Christmas weekend away! Lovely big house, very clean and in a great location. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend! 」

「Working over Christmas we booked this break to get away from all the madness. Just us and the dog. Thimblewynd was just perfect and we loved it. Peaceful and comfy throughout we chilled out in front of thr log burner or in the hot tub, the tv wasn't on once! We eat at the Kirkstyle Inn which was lovely but made ourselves breakfast and snacks in the well equipped kitchen. There was not a single thing we could fault and we loved every minute. Thanks to Maggie for hosting us. 」

「We booked our stay to have a break from the usual bedlam of a manic Christmas at home.The apartment was so lovely and the town of Pitlochry was beautiful with the Christmas lights and decorations.We loved our stay and would love to stay again next Christmas.Thanks for everythingEric, Joy and Fudge (our Cockapoo) 」

「I had a lovely stay. Liz, the host was excellent with communication and even delivered more logs when I was running low. I would definitely recommend as a perfect "getting away from it all" place.」

「This is one of the oldest hotels in Scotland. The room ws excellent. Bed comfortable. I couldn't get water temperature right, but hit water definitely available. I had breakfast, which was buffet style in Georgian style room. Traditional hot breakfast. Porridge was excellent! I had dinner in the Reid Room. Good selection and good selection of Gins! 12 minute walk from train station. Hotel near River.」
