The motel is conveniently located just steps away from Skaha Beach, with a really tasty ice cream shop across the road. However, aside from that sweet spot, there are very limited dining options near the motel. The price is decent, but you definitely get what you pay for.
This seems to be an older, family-run establishment that is advertised as recently renovated. The updates, however, seem questionable, as the motel still feels worn out. The rooms on the main floor are quite small, and the walls are very thin, allowing you to hear conversations from adjacent rooms, outdoor noise, and traffic.
Check-in was challenging, as they had lost my reservation with Expedia. Fortunately, the staff at Expedia were able to resolve the issue, but it left me feeling uneasy. I was initially told there were no rooms available, but when Expedia rectified the missing reservation, a room suddenly became available, which seemed suspicious.
Additionally, the water pressure in the room was terrible, which was disappointing.
Overall, if you're simply looking for a roof over your head at a decent price and proximity to the beach, this might be the place for you.
