We stayed here when it snowed & the creek was really fun to hike around, but eventually it stops on private property. It feels like a family friendly place. There was no free internet & cell phone service was poor, but that was part of the fun. It felt like we were in a private corner of the world & the interior and exterior design was unique & quaint.

The cabins along the creek were exceptionally clean and well appointed. The outdoor pool was heated to 82 degrees and putting green was fun to play on. Staff worked with our very late arrival and were pleasant our entire trip. Highly recommend a stay at Kohls Ranch.

Everything was great except the parking lot. Since the property has signs that they are not responsible if someone breaks into your car. It will be nice if they have cameras to feel more secure parking and leaving you car there.

The entire lodge was fabulous. It was great to have a restaurant on site and the food was delicious. They did run out of some items, which was a bit of a bummer, but everything was still delicious. We didn't get to enjoy any of the amenities the lodge had to offer as our stay was limitied, but we will definently be back again and for a longer stay!
