「Alyssia was excellent to deal with in booking Shrapnel's Retreat. The cottage was lovely. Clean and tidy. Had everything you needed in the kitchen. Shower nice and hot. Had a possum come to visit. 「Beautiful old timber mill house with clean modern conveniences. Manicured gardens, secure parking tucked away in a back lane. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We organised facials/massages at the local salon, took the tram ride to the cascades and did the river cruise. Dinner at the pub. Friendly locals! It was a little awkward and off putting that the cleaners arrived at 9:55am (as we were packing the car) but they were friendly and patient. Thankyou for a cosy stay.」
