「It could have been a 5 stars. I stayed for 7 nights. the place was convenient, close to the city centre, very spacious, the apartment condtion was clean and comfy. The bed sheets and towels were changed once on my 3rd night. The bins were cleared everyday. HOWEVER, the check-in experience was VERY disappointing. First, I never received any instructions beforehand. When I arrived, i couldnt find the intructions, all doors were locked, no signs at all. So I called the number from the expedia...

「Really cosy and gorgeous little cottage! Bedroom was really comfy, ceiling a little low in parts if you’re 6.4’ and above! Breakfast was a nice easy fix. The view was excellent and the shared gardens were peaceful. Lawrence was helpful and welcoming.」

「Thank you for a perfect stay right by the sea so I could swim every morning with ease 😊 the property had everything we needed within reach of cafes and restaurants ☺️」

「absolutley lovely place. so spacious and cozy. me and my 7 friends stayed there and we all felt at home with how peaceful and beautiful the house was. check in was super easy and the 2 minute interaction i had when checking in with i assume the owner was very good. i couldn’t recommend a better place as this suited all our needs. unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best but we took liberty of the huge and incredibly comfortable lounge. 」

「Fantastic location, lovely house and refreshingly uncomplicated hosting - thank you very much. Running through ancient woodland and out across the moors in the autumn sunshine was truly special. We would love to return…」

「Lovely house to stay for a big family , everything you need in the property and more . Great outdoor area for relaxing and for little ones to play . Area good and quiet not far from the town and shops and there are takeaways across the road . Within easy reach of many holiday favourites beaches , parks , castles etc there is great selection of leaflets for ideas . We would return in the future . Thank you Diane for hosting us . 」

「It was lovely and out of the way. Very nice room and Ensuite. Only down points were very hard bed and pillows and the shower mechanism was slightly broken so difficulty in regulating temperature, but water pressure was great. Overall, we would be happy to return. 」

「This tiny house is a very nice place to stay (please note: It’s in the back row!) and it’s very close to the beach! We were 8 people - 5 adults, 3 children all under 6 - and had enough space. However I think there is no chance to have 8 adults sitting at the table! The general cleanliness was good - but I think the housekeeper should work more conscientiously. There was dust bunnies under the beds that appeared when you walked close by. All in all it was worth the money!」

「I don't know when the photographs were taken but I do know it wasn't recently, the fully equipped kitchen isn't, the en-suite shower and sink drains blocked.」

「Lucy was so helpful in answering questions and supporting us. It is a lovely spot unique and connected to the history of the area. Walks from our front door. Good pub across the river and comfy beds as we fell asleep to the sound of the river . We will be back!」

「The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean and tidy, the room was cold, because the window was letting in draft and noisy whilst closed, the heater was under the window so wasn’t letting much heat in the room, because of the draft, the food and drink is quite pricey but tasty」
