「Enjoyed our stay right in the water front. If you take your boat, the boat launch that is not far from the house will not allow you to turn around to launch your boat. Owner of the house was super helpful and very sweet! She called to make sure we made it ok and called the day we left to thank us for staying. 「We had an amazing time! My daughter and five of her friends found this place by chance. I originally booked another property to celebrate their senior year but had to make new arrangements due to unfinished construction at the other place. It was a blessing in disguise because this house is absolutely gorgeous, well stocked, had everything we needed and so much more. 「This home is what we expected. The guest house does not have beds for couples. The only downside in our stay was that I was told numerous times to read the folder, which we all did. The folder 1st said to put towels and sheets in the tub. The next point said wash and dry towels. Since we left before 7 it was impossible to wash and dry towels. (the owner told me it was in the VRBO directives). There would be a $10 charge since we did not wash and dry the towels, because that is what her cleaning...

「There was a mix up with rental being double booked. Instead of cabin we reserved 15 months earlier, we were housed in a house apparently used as part of venue operations. It certainly was not what we expected but we made the best of it! It was clean and bed was comfortable so we chose to overlook the minor hiccups. Most importantly it was a great eclipse viewing site and the actual eclipse experience was extraordinary! All staff members were very kind and welcoming.」

「There was 5 adults and 2 kids (4, 11) and we had more than enough room. We caught quite a few fish from the dock. Everything was perfect and the communication was great. The pictures do not do this home justice. We will definitely be booking again.」
