"We really enjoyed our stay at the Irish Cottage Inn. Check in was a breeze, and the facility itself very cute to explore. Their afternoon tea offering was a nice addition to their outstanding breakfast. We had dinner at Frank O'Dowd's and enjoyed the décor and live music. The dinner and drinks were great, and it was nice to walk back to our room after a fun day in Galena. My only complaint is that the bed could use a mattress pad as they were not the best. However, the room was quiet, with very clean and new bathroom. A very short drive to downtown Galena. We will certainly consider a repeat stay! "

"This is my second time staying at this property. Friendly staff, clean rooms, liked that there is a nice restaurant and sports bar attached. Overall, could not ask for a better place if you are in that area. "
