Relax with the whole family at this peaceful wooded retreat!
This spacious 2-story 3-bedroom house is on a quiet lane with plenty of space from our neighbors. If you love seeing wildlife, deer and turkeys are a regular sight as well as the occasional fox and black bear. If you have pets, there is plenty of space for them to run around!

The master bedroom a very comfortable new hybrid king-size mattress.
The other two bedrooms have a full-size and two twin beds.
For larger groups, we also have a queen size and a single air mattress and extra sheets and blankets.
There is an additional toilet and sink in the basement that has shower curtains mounted to wooden studs for privacy, but no door yet.
You have access to the entire house including the basement where there is an extra toilet and the washer and dryer, but the attic is off-limits to guests.
I do not live in the area, but we have neighbors who are available to help in a pinch. Otherwise, you can reach me by phone or AirBnB messaging.
You get the quiet out-in-the-woods feel but with grocery stores, restaurants, and hospitals just minutes away.
For groceries, there is are two supermarkets: Ken's Bilo 4 min away and Giant Eagle 6 min away. They are both full supermarkets, but the Giant Eagle has a better selection overall.
The neighborhood is a dead-end street that butts up against the base of a mountain (small one), and the lane the AirBnB sits on has two houses on it, we do have neighbors within eyeshot, but there is enough distance to have some privacy (see photos).
The house is set back from the lane and is accessible by a gravel driveway that goes right up to the front steps and porch. There is space on the gravel for 3 or 4 vehicles without parking anyone in.
You can certainly take a walk around the neighborhood where there are some farms with horses, walk down to the creek, or cross the bridge and walk around some small streets with houses and barely any cars.
The back of the house is right up against the woods, and there is a lot of wildlife around. Do note that there are occasional bears and foxes, and care should be taken to keep small pets safe from wild animals.
Also note that there is a small pond on our neighbor's property and you are responsible for keeping pets and children safe from this and other potential hazards.
This house is not accessible for those with mobility issues. There are steps leading to the front porch and the only full bath is on the second floor accessible by stairs.
No shoes inside the house. It's a muddy yard and we have light colored carpeting, so please leave shoes in the boot tray by the front door or in the back mudroom.
Please make sure you wipe off dog paws before they walk on the carpet. There are towels and rags for this in the cabinet in the back mud room.
You must register all guests that you are planning to have staying at the house. Visitors are fine (for example, family that live near by).
Pets are not allowed on the furniture (beds and sofas).
You must register your pets ($25 fee for pets).
There is NO SMOKING or vaping inside the house. You may smoke on the front porch, but all cigarette butts must end up in the trashcan and not in yard (for instance put them in a bottle with water in the bottom and then throw away the bottle before you leave).
It is your responsibility to clean up after your pets. You may either use bags to pick up the waste and put in the trashcan, or toss into the woods in the back of the house, just do not leave in the grass.
Please stay in our yard and not our neighbors'. There is a line of small fruit trees that marks the line between our yard and the brick house that is our neighbors'. Please do not go over there or allow pets to go into their yard. On the other side, do not go past the small creek (or dry creek bed, depending on the season).
