"I arrived last in the evening and found the doors locked. I called the reception desk and was let in. The Hotel is clean and comfortable But has no restaurant and there was no Breakfast service. In fairness this information is on the hotel web site and had I paid greater attention. I likely would not have booked a room after a 220km drive and arriving late I did not want to go looking for a restaurant and instead went into the Supermarket next door for bread and meats and cheese to eat in the...

"The receptionist was lovely. However, we did not get a double bed, but two singles, which resulted in my sleeping in the crack - it was a couple's get-away. Also, the fact that smokers linger in front of every window and smoke getting into the room and noise levels of conversations being high at all times of day and night, does not help the comfort."

"Die Rezeption war bei unserer Ankunft nur durch das Servicepersonal des Bistros mitbetreut. Mehr als die Übergabe des Schlüssels war nicht möglich. Die über den Online-Check in abgefragten persönlichen Daten mussten nochmal handschriftlich eingetragen werden. Zimmer 1 im EG liegt genau gegenüber der Rezeption und am Durchgang zu den öffentlichen Toiletten des Restaurants. "No staff for late-night arrivals; call ahead for special handling (try not to be late; limited outdoor lighting). Hotel is in tiny part of small town; not much around (few residential houses and park); requires a lot of navigation from Autobahn (not "easy-on/easy-off"). Rooms and hotel are very basic; nightly price is therefore also lower. Room is only where you'll want to sleep and shower; no reason you'll want to stay in the room if you can find any reason to be elsewhere. Breakfast is buffet...

"we really enjoy our 2 week stay.We were welcomed by Peter and his wife who are excellent hosts. Peter speaks very good English,was welcomed as a friend,anything you need to know peter is at hand. Came to see our son who is stationed at Bielefeld which is about 20 min's drive away. The loft is clean and spacious and found it was ideal. will be returning again.If you are travelling from the uk to visit friends and relative's around the area it is ideal place to stay."
