“Be careful when booking on expedia. I included my wife and I, and our two 4yos, and it still let me a book a studio with only a queen bed which said it only sleeps two, but i obviously overlooked it because i assumed it wouldnt let me book a room that only sleep two when we have four of us.”

“Stay right on the beach. Drag your beach chair right down to the shore. Walk out the back door right into the sand. Watch the sunset from your patio. Unit was clean and tidy. Remodeled. It was in good condition. Beach equipment was sparse and the chairs and mats need to be replaced. Owner did not respond to our concerns about this until after we checked out 4 days later. That was a little disappointing. Even with the junk beach furniture I would go back again. ”

“Our daughter was performing her music in Siesta Key so we picked this little gem due to its location, privacy and amenities. There were 4 of us; my husband, oldest daughter, a friend and myself. We all agreed we are glad we did. It allowed us a tranquil retreat in between shows. Morning coffee by the water was my favorite thing about it. Sunsets are beautiful. The host was friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this property.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this house. We loved that there were three bedrooms, so our kids each got their own room. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, which was nice. The location was very close to Highway 41, which we discovered leads to basically everywhere you want to go. The host was very friendly and attentive and communicative. There is a private pool that is heated, though we were disappointed that there was some trouble with the heater staying on so the pool temp wasn't warming up……

“We stayed during spring break and had a great time. The sunsets at Turtle Beach were better than Siesta Key Beach. If you're traveling with teenagers, you may want to get closer to town as its too far to walk (9 miles). Families with young children and adults you can't go wrong with the location. The island is full of construction due to last season's hurricanes so there's a lot of noise (after 9am). The pool is not heated and too cold to swim in other than that I would stay again.”
