The Verandas complex is located at 5th Avenue, along the beautiful Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach. This condo, unit #902 on the 9th floor, is a LARGE one bedroom, 1.5 bath, updated condo with new improvements to impress. The spacious master sleeps 4, with two queen beds, and new 42 inch Smart TV (2023). There is an en-suite full bath (tub/shower combo) attached to the hallway half bath. If extra space is needed, use the hidden Murphy Bed that offers a comfortable (third) queen-size mattress.

The family room offers a wall of ocean views, great space, with new flooring, fresh paint and nautical decor touches. The living space is perfectly cozy with new furnishings, including a cozy sectional sofa and a large flat screen TV for your movie night! NEW BEAUTIFUL STONE COUNTERTOPS, in the galley kitchen. Clean, well appointed, with full size appliances and fully equipped essentials to prepare your meals. The washer/dryer are a "stackable set" located just off the kitchen. Walk out onto your personal "veranda" and enjoy the sunrise views w/ your morning coffee fresh from the Keurig.

For those who need to stay connected during your travels, The Verandas has FREE internet access in the unit. After a long walk on the beach, take a cool dip in the pool or soak up some rays on the ocean side sun deck. Take time to relax and rejuvenate while floating around the lazy river or take a much needed long soak in the hot tub.

ODVR is very pleased to present this great condo at The Verandas, an attractive, tropically landscaped, 12-story resort. A multi-story parking garage provides easy access to elevators for loading and unloading. The Ocean Drive Beach section offers downtown Main Street shops, entertainment & restaurants just 5 blocks away. There are FREE family-friendly weekly concerts on Thursday nights, all summer long. Great Unit, Tiny Annoyances
This is a very nice unit in a great location. It was clean with plenty of room. The listing matched the description and it was decorated nicely along with being clean and in impeccably condition. There were a few things that were quite annoying. 1) The TV’s didn’t work and said “no signal.” We also never found the remote control in the master bedroom, so the TV’s never went on. Not the end of the world but it happened. 2) You get a bar of soap to wash hands and for the shower- anything beyond that you have to buy. There was no dish soap provided if you’re going to hand wash anything. One garbage bag is provided but once you fill it, you’ll find yourself at the store buying a whole pack. Providing 1 or 2 other would have been nice. We have stayed in many private rentals and these small items have been provided for convenience. 3) There are two bathrooms with the loudest fans and the brightest lights. The wattage for the lightbulbs can be seen from space and the fans can be heard from there as well. There was no other way to see and just jarring to turn on. If anyone used the bathroom in the middle of the night, it woke up everyone. Having night lights in those bathrooms is essential, which was another expense we didn’t plan on. 3) They provide you with one roll of toilet paper per bathroom- be prepared to buy more. 4) The shower liner is the cheapest quality- it blows in while the fan is on and you’re taking a shower, so be prepared for that to stick to you. Great otherwise!

Overall great stay
The property was great. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and a great family setting. The pictures are exactly what it is. We went August 14th and the water was perfect. As mentioned in other reviews the fans in bathrooms are very loud, however I don’t feel that’s a make or break thing for the stay. The shower is sloooow draining (I would imagine from truckloads of sand over the summer) and the bathroom and kitchen could be updated but again NOT A MAKE OR BREAK for us. Who is in the condo that much at the beach anyways?!! The linens were clean. The living area is so cozy. There was kuerig along with a regular coffee pot and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities to cook. You should take trash bags for the kitchen as there were no extras. We used the washer and dryer and it was very clean and convenient. The only thing that was not convenient for our family is that it is about 20-25 minutes (depending on traffic) to drive to Broadway on the Beach and all the big attractions down that way. We thought it would be closer, which was our own problem, not the property owner. The pier is also not very close. Barefoot Landing (which we love) is close and there are a good many of the cheapy beach shops close by, along with many restaurants. Krispy Kreme is about a 3 minute drive 😆 perfection! Nothing wrong with the property itself that would keep us from considering staying here again. The view is amazing!!! Check-in and out was fine and not obnoxious in any way. All in all if you are ok with a little driving around for big attractions you should book this condo for your family vacay!

Beautiful view, Convenient location
This unit was very clean and decorated exactly how you would expect a beach property to look (light and cozy). I loved the blonde wood-like ceramic floors; perfect for keeping sand at bay. Everything we needed for the week was provided within Covid regulations (ex: get your own salt & pepper and dish liquid if your cooking in). The unit says it sleeps 6 but there were enough beds to sleep 8. The view was fantastic from the 9th floor but unfortunately the adjacent hotel blocks the view of the sunrise from the balcony. The property was very well-maintained and the pools were not overly crowded nor was the parking garage. The location was great being very close to Main Street and the Hwy 17 bypass! The management company was friendly, informative and very easy to work with! I’m so happy I found this gem at a very reasonable price and I would love to stay in this unit with my family again. I would definitely recommend it to others as well!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Good location. The unit was very clean and had a great view. Would like to see the common areas of the building get updated a little more. The rental management company was great. At one point we accidentally locked ourselves out and they came by within a short wait. Would strongly recommend the owner upgrade to a digital keypad. Also, had to wait over a week to get our security hold back. Would be nice if they could just electronically transfer the money back instead of mailing a check. Overall would stay here again. Thanks ODVR!!!

I really liked the decore. It seemed that some rooms were updated, but the main bathroom is in need of updates. The vent system sounded as loud as jet engine. We were greeted at the door by cob webs with bugs around the door and light fixture by the door. The entire property could be much cleaner. The location is good, and the view fantastic.

First impression was this is wrong unit. Decor is not what the picture showed. Couch and chair not what is in pictures nor is the wall art. Also dont think white couch a d love seat is best idea for a rental. Internet was unusable. Was off most of the time. Wasnt crazy about having to check in at office. When we rented before there is usually a key pad. That is more convenient. The property was very nice. Location was good. Had a great time.

We would stay here again. Would love to see the floors and bed spreads be cleaner. Light in bedroom didn’t work. Skillets were really old. Overall, the condo was well equipped and the location was perfect for us. Comfortable!

Quiet Beach Getaway!
We were completely happy with our unit at The Verandas! Cozy and quiet, the perfect size for my husband and I with everything that we needed to enjoy a mini vacation at the beach. With easy access to the beach and even though we didn’t use them, the pool, hot tub and lazy river were clean and well maintained. Also, we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the moon over the ocean every evening. I will mention that if you’ve read the reviews that say an umbrella and chairs are provided, they are not available anymore so be sure to bring your own, thankfully we did!

Just what we needed!!
The unit was immaculate and had everything we needed! The furniture on the balcony was comfortable and the view of the ocean was amazing. Can’t beat the proximity to the beach! The hot tub and lazy river were great. The pool looks great too but we didn’t use it. The A/C worked great and the water pressure in the shower was wonderful. Parking was easy and the elevator was so fast. The rental company was extremely responsive when the coffee maker stopped working one morning. They had it replaced within a couple of hours with a brand new one. The only issue we had was that the internet was unreliable.
