The property was great for a family. Lots of beds. The dock was a little shallow for docking our boat. Most likely it was the time of year though. Over all a great experience on a great little lake. The kids had fun fishing and boating. :)

It was clean, basic lake cabin... Fanily stayed there for a wedding in Newport. We enjoyed the view ... watch out for the sunrise ... gorgeous but bright

Diamon Lake in August

Rustic quaint lakefront cabin. Great stay, spent all our time on the water. Room to dock our boat and jet ski, although diamond is pretty shallow and it’s very shallow off the dock probably only 3 or 4 feet. Pretty rustic cabin and we did go out and buy some supplies like a sponge for dishes. No dishwasher or washing machine fyi. We had trouble getting into the cabin when we initially arrived as we had not received a code from the rental agency but we were able to call Vrbo and they connected us. After that there were no issues. Played in the lake all day watched DVD’s in the evening. Nice quiet family getaway.

Good place to say if you don’t need anything fancy

Overall nice place to stay at the lake. Nice dock, deck, and beach area. The cabin itself could have been cleaner (dust that could use a good deep cleaning). No washer and dryer which is tough with kids. Tried asking questions about our stay through Vrbo app and direct email to owner with no response (email wasn’t valid), granted we didn’t try the listed cell phone numbers. Suggestion to owners to add some umbrellas/shade on the deck for the hot mornings before sun gets behind the house. It’s a good place to stay if you’re not looking for anything extravagant.

Lake cabin time machine

This quaint cabin sits on Diamond Lake and has it's own dock. The decor and furnishings are reminiscent of my childhood memories from the '70's. The bedrooms are very small as are the baths. It is definitely more cabin than hotel, so maybe over priced. The deck and windows in the living room are nice.

Great lake house steps from the water

great rental property. Beautiful views and tons of fun swimming, fishing and playing cards on the deck. Fall asleep to the sound of the lake. Definitely would come back again.

This is a great, quiet location with amazing view

This is a cute cabin, bathrooms are updated, deck seems pretty new and is made of trek deck or similar material and is very nice, and very large. The slope of the sand into the water is perfect for the little kids. I read the reviews prior to staying saying the cabin was dirty and I don't agree - the cabin is perfect if you are expecting that true Pacific Northwest rustic cabin experience. It was not dirty at all. There are loads of dishes, pots and pans for use, the BBQ is brand new and along with the beautiful deck became the focal point of our family. There were a lot of nails and screws in the sand - seems like maybe someone tore down a deck or something and pulled nails and left them. We raked several times and found more than 30. Would be unsafe for kids to run around without water shoes (ours had water shoes on so they were fine). We tried to contact the property manager several times with questions prior to our stay with no response, not even sure if the contact information we were given was correct. We then called the rental agency and they answered our questions so it didn't matter. If you want a cozy northwest cabin experience you should stay here - if you want a new house/building and close contact with the property manager you should not.

Beautiful settin

The lake is gorgeous, deck and dock are nice. The cabin is very dirty and cluttered. We had a one year old child with us and he found rat/mouse poison under the sink among some pots and pans. The bunk beds are unusable and dangerous. Windows are filthy. The outdoor grill/burner was totally rusted and burned out so the grill was unusable. I found sand in the bottom of my bed so I will assume the sheets had not been changed since the previous renters. Property is very overpriced.

Cabin right on the water!

Very homey lake cabin experience. Loved the ease of access to the water and boat. Fire pit at night was great. Kayak is very nice. Bedrooms are a little small but fine overall. Bathrooms very nice. Thanks for letting us stay in your home!

The view of the lake was wonderful. Too bad the windows look like they have not been cleaned for a couple years. The bed spreads in the children's room are old and stained. The grill did not work.
