This was my 5th time visiting NYC, and I decided to stay at this hotel because it was less than 10 min walk to Times Square, and also 5 minute walk to Madison Square Gardens. Overall, I was very happy with this hotel. The location is very convenient to everything, the staff were super friendly and helpful when I needed something. There is a little convenience store in the lobby, but I never needed to shop there (honestly, there is a 7-11 at the corner of 37th & 8th, so I just went there). There is laundry facility on-site as well. There is a restaurant that is connected to this hotel and I ate there twice. Good menu and lovely staff. I also quite liked my room. I know a lot of people will complain that the rooms are small, and I understand their point of view, but this is NYC - I have never stayed in a large room. I travelled solo and had a king bed, nice large TV, there was a mini fridge, lots of spots to store clothing, bathroom was nice, water pressure was great, Wi-Fi worked well. I was on the 15th floor and my view was another building, but that's typical. Since I was so high up, my room was really quiet and I had no street noise. The other thing that I absolutely loved was when I walked into my room, the TV was on screen saver mode that was all different aerial shots of NYC, and it said, "Welcome Lisa". I know it's such a small thing but it totally made my day. I would recommend anyone to stay here just based on the location alone.
