「I really liked the pavilion outside. That was a very nice sitting area that was covered. What I did not like was the room accross from me had someone constantly throwing something at the door that could be heard accross the hall into my room. Other than that the place was great, I would stay there again.」

「Room smelled musty. Pool steps were very slippery. Gf slipped on steps getting into pool and broke toe, maybe could use traction strips?」

「Had a refrigerator, microwave, ironing board and iron, and a hair dryer. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, you get a super small tube of each. Clean and convenient. I would recommend.」

「You can’t beat the views from the deck. Great to see the barges float down the river. Cell coverage is difficult (at least with Verizon), but that’s ok so that you can just get away & relax, and enjoy the river life. Took a driving tour along the Ohio River, really enjoyed all the small towns in the area. Great place to get away!」

「If the idea of peace, quiet, and an amazing Ohio River view interest you consider Le Chalet a must. So cool to watch long barges slowly navigate the bends of the river. Especially at night! Almost hypnotic. Bud and his team were fantastic and a pleasure to meet. We will return.」

「Last year my friend and I stayed at a hotel to explore Corydon. We decided to try a VRBO property this year and it couldn’t have been better. Privacy, beauty, space and close to all the places we wanted to explore. Jennifer met us at the cabin and was very welcoming and gave us lots of ideas of places to visit. The rooms and bathroom are small so it was perfect for two women. We are already planning our next trip!」

「Husband and I had to be out of state on short notice and preferred to not stay in a hotel. Found this AMAZING getaway, close enough to where we needed to be, yet at the end of the day wonderful relaxing nights. Quiet, beautiful, best sleep I have had in years! Campfire at night and work up to deer and turkey visits in the morning. We will be back! 」
