「Great spot, the dog loved it too」

「Our third stay at 14 Hodges. We were so pleased with the upgrades. The new beds/bedding were amazing and the new thermostat was user friendly. We managed to cook quite a bit while also eating out at our favorite vegan spots in Salem and Beverly. We headed to Boston via train for the Titanic exhibit and headed to Portland Maine and the lit up for the Holidays Nubble Light House. It was great to visit the PEM once again for some great exhibits and all the local stores. It was great to be "home." 」

「I stayed with my extended family (all 10 of us) in this wonderful house. It was a terrific set up with plenty of space for people to both spread out and be together. The mudroom gave us the space to dump skis and poles and not track snow, salt, and sand into the house. We especially appreciated the large table that allowed us to all sit together for meals and the large kitchen that made cooking for a big group smooth and seamless. 「Stayed in January the off season so the area was really quiet and most shops were shut down. We had all we needed in the house. We were very comfortable. The fireplace was was warm and a joy to sit by. We absolutely had no complaints at any time during our 7 day stay. We would all like to come back in the summertime.」

「Perfect location and beautiful house. We are a family of 10 adults and had plenty of room. The park is fun to visit though parking can be challenging. The same with Bar Harbor, great town but difficult to park. I’d recommend this home and location for a Fall getaway. Foliage was amazing. 「It’s hard to imagine a more convenient location in central Salem. This historic building is across the street from the Peabody Essex Museum and close to restaurants and bars, but it’s relatively quiet in November. (The only sounds at night were some footsteps from the apartment above.) The interior was clean and appointed with everything we needed for our stay.
