Absolutely terrible! Parking was confusing, when we called the front desk they couldn't help us.We didn't find out about the military discount until after we paid for our room. When asked if we could get a partial refund we were told no because we already paid for our room. Then we get to the room. The toilet paper hadnt been refilled. The shower was filthy and had no shower curtain. When we went to take a shower the water went straight onto the floor, microwave was broken, there were holes in the pillow covers. The "historic view" was that of the convention center. Breakfast was was awful and ending up making us sick. Will not be returning!

We have been coming to Chateau St. Denis for many years. We had started to see it going downhill a bit until this stay. The entire property is noticebly clean and well kept. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Corners are definitely being cut. Housekeeping wouldn’t supply a trashcan for the bedroom area. Cleaning also started during breakfast and continued until the evening, with trashbags and random trash, like used q-tips and fast food papers left on the hallway carpets all day and night. Hotel breakfast and bar servers were pleasant but food ran out and was not replaced proactively. This did not seem the fault of the server, who was working to please and seemed to be doing work that should have been covered by 2-3 workers. Front desk staff was gossiping to one another or on phones at least half the time we walked through the lobby. Have enjoyed past stays, the quality was noticeably lower this stay.

Perfect for access to downtown. Arrived to batteries missing from tv remote, shower is open , so it couldn’t get warm. Breakfast options were not fully available as listed on website.

We did not get the room we booked and there were no others. There was mold and mildew in the shower. The shower tray was dirty with past guest footprints. There were only 2 sets of towels and we were 3 adults. The provision for our 3rd adult was a roll away bed and we were provided a bottom sheet and a bedspread—nothing else. When we left our room and returned later in the day, our keys did not work and we had to get new keys programmed. There was one bright light—the bartender, Daisy! She was kind, funny, helpful and charming!! The other staff members we spoke to were also very kind and helpful!

The property itself was clean and inviting but I felt I had to work too hard to get my things from the car to the room. There were no baggage carts and the staff was not helpful at all with getting one. Their nonchalant reply was they’re on the halls because people don’t bring them back. Therefore if you really need one you have to check every hall yourself to find one. And let me add it was not busy and I was the only one checking in at the time. I felt that they could have been more helpful as employees of the hotel. I was worn out just trying to get checked in.

We've always wanted to stay here when in town so we took this opportunity when just passing through to check it out and we were disappointed. The rooms were not really clean so much that we chose not to eat breakfast there for fear of how clean the kitchen was kept if the bathrooms in the rooms were so dirty. Traffic noises early morning were not so welcoming for sitting outside on the balcony for morning coffee either. Sadly disappointed but we won't stay there again.

Was of hair on bathroom floor, no trash bags in garbage cans and shower was nasty. Red film in tile and mildew around caulking and bottom was dirty. Obviously it was the housekeeping for this room sub par because our first stay room and bathroom was much cleaner. Enjoy the breakfast.

The room 110 was filthy. I wish I could post pictures. For this too be a move grab Everything had a thick layer of dust. The blanket on the bed was as thick as maybe 2 sheets. Tv didn't work. Had to call maintenance.
