「Great place to unwind!! Quiet and secluded and only like 20 minutes to Alexandria for whatever you need. Everything was great, definitely plan to come again next time I’m in town. 」

「House was very clean and comfortable. Cane River runs behind it and area was peaceful and beautiful. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s in the past and this was our favorite. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Snack basket and waters were very nice touches. Communication with owners was quick and easy. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others. 」

「House was as advertised. Fishing was great. We caught over 70 bream. Only one garbage bag was supplied. The dishwasher was broken. The TV in the main bedroom was not working right. These issues would not be particularly important except for the fact that the rate was $275 a night. Otherwise, the location, views and fishing were very nice.」

「Photos inside are accurate. Home was fully stocked with supplies needed for our stay. House is set back on the property. If you are not familiar with the area you might have a difficult time finding it at night. Loved the 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, perfect for elderly travelers. Host very, very accommodating. Would definitely recommend. 」

「The inside was beautiful, and all the necessities were provided. What we did not realize is that the location was on a regular street with locals living on each side, but we had no issues and the neighborhood was quiet. The only turn off was that on the front porch there was an old chair with an old table that had an ash tray and a bucket full of cigarette buds. Once you were inside you had that vacation feeling. It was also close to the plantations and about 10 minutes from Natchitoches. 」
