"We stayed in crown plaza in Fuzhou and it was a great experience. So we gave Tianjin crown plaza a try. That experience turned out to a huge difference in a negative way. "It was nice enough. The room was a good size, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Our only complaint was that the free breakfast is supposed to go until 10; we went down at 9 and there was nothing left on the buffet but 3 slices of bread. When we finally saw an employee she brought us some coffee but otherwise we were out of luck. So if you want breakfast, go early."

"Reasonably sized and comfortable room with several downsides. First was the smell of smoke whereby I requested a non-smoking room. The in room dining menu stated it was available up to 10pm but when I called at 9.45pm, I was told it was no longer available. Lastly, my colleague who book into the same room category received fruit basket and dumpling whereas I did not have any welcome items. Rather disappointed with a hotel branding that is under Westin."
