Absolutely a beautiful Ryokan a short drive away from Nagano. Upon arriving you are greeted with a welcome coffee/tea, and the staff are all extremely pleasant. I recommend doing both dinner and breakfast as the kaiseki course for both is amazing. For dinner we had sashimi, Shabu Shabu, fried fish among many other dishes. Their breakfast is amazing and healthy too with yogurt, granola, shabu soup, and many other buffet options.
There are many onsen in the area with 3 being in the hotel itself. 2 of the onsen need to be reserved and are private with one large public onsen. The view from the two which need to be reserved are amazing
