"The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed. The toilets and shower blocks were very well kept and clean. Perfect...

We loved its location next to the city wall- very pretty. I could see how it would be hot in the upstairs in the summer since it was a tad warm when visiting in March. "I cannot fault the way the apartment is 'kitted out'. There was everything you needed even down to disposable slippers. Nice to have heaters for a very cold night and morning. The shower is great with an overhead rain shower. The owners always responded immediately to any questions I sent which is good. My only tiny criticism is that there was an overwhelming smell of very pungent air fresheners but obviously, most people wouldn't find that a problem. I would definitely recommend this...

"We were in Bedale to attend the Middleham Open Day. It was a perfect base for us.The cottage was absolutely perfect. A real home from home.
