「The property was located in a peaceful wooded area on the quiet side of Acadia. It was not far to the major attractions in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Comfortable, clean space. There really isn’t a kitchen - no stove or sink, but there is a microwave, coffee pot and you can wash dishes in bathroom sink. There is a fridge. It had everything we needed since we were not cooking - just reheating. Lots of information sent ahead by the owners. We really enjoyed our stay. 」

The kitchen was excellently appointed with all we needed to cook our meals. The location was perfect for exploring the island while being able to walk into Bar Harbor. 「My husband and I had a wonderful stay for our first anniversary. Bar Harbor is a beautiful town and this VRBO is located directly in the middle of it all. The location was perfect for walking to food, shops, the pier, and most importantly, the Island Explorer bus stops. Although a little pricey, it was tidy, warm and had everything we needed in the kitchen and extra bedding for snuggling up.」

「My family of 4 had such a great time in this home in Southwest Harbor. I am so thankful for this peaceful retreat away from the crowds and stress of Bar Harbor. The house was lovely, quiet, and cozy. It was so clean and well-constructed. We have stayed in rental properties about twice a year for the last 12 years, and this one was my favorite. Communication process for check in a little rocky: didn't get electronic documents or check-in info until last minute; onsite housekeeper had changed.
