Great location!

Loved the cliff-side location and access to the swimming hole. Super convenient between Hood River and The Dalles. Sleeps 8 comfortably!

Big house with great hot tub

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the home. The issues we had were finding the house in the dark due to the address listed. The lock is a little complicated and frustrating. There is only 1 shower. But the hot tub was amazing and we all had a great time.

Vacation Haven

It was like coming home. Everything was comfortable and clean. The deck was a favorite in the morning and evening. A great place to have coffee or a glass of wine to unwind, listening to the birds and running stream in the background; one side is sunny in the morning, and the other in the afternoon. A few minutes from I85 and 10 minutes to Hood River means wineries and great seafood is close. Try Riverside Restaurant patio at the Best Western for lunch or dinner.

Fantastic family vacation

We loved the wandering waterfall. Its an eclectic mix of family heirlooms and fully stocked amenities. We loved waking up to the waterfall, the beds were comfy and the kids loved the game loft! Perfect property for our group of 3 generations.

Old place

Great location, cool history but needs an updating. The heater barely kept up at 23 outside. I understand the price reflecting the size of the house but it is really outdated and lots of things are ready to fall apart or fail. Washing machine hose leaks, gas fireplace doesn’t work. Kitchen hanging on by a thin thread. But cost, and fulfilled its purpose which was a place to stay in Mosier.

Location and views are amazing!!

Was once probably a really beautiful home. Needs quite a bit of updating and maintenance. Slept 8 comfortably. Only one shower.

Amazing views, delightfully quirky fun house

Amazing views of the waterfall, hiking trail and the Columbia River. This is a unique family vacation home that has actually been lived in…so if you are looking for a spotlessly clean environment then this is NOT the house for you! But if you are looking for something a little different that has lots of personality then I highly recommend it. Our elementary school age kiddos did not want to leave! We had three generations for a long rainy weekend and it worked perfectly for us.

Quirky, sweet, comfortable

We were so disappointed that Vacasa/VRBO didn't allow any changes in our reservation to accommodate my mother getting Covid and having to change her plans. However, the few of us that live semi-locally decided to stay in the home since it felt silly to not use something that was fully paid for. The home was quirky but sweet. The lighting situation is odd but we made it work. We could feel how lovingly the home was designed with windows looking at the waterfall and little gorge to the sweeping plateau and the amazing stars. The accommodations were comfortable and the kitchen was well stockef with dishes, pots, pans, and appliances. There was heavy smoke in the air during our stay so it was wonderful that the home had fans and an air purifier to help cut down the smokey air. The home is definitely in need of some major maintenance but you can feel the thoughtful loving touches. The hot tub was not very private but what a fantastic way to watch the stars!

Wonderful Time

We loved the house waking up to a beautiful waterfall everyday was a treat we will never forget. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time in their own little hideaway upstairs. The house and property was everything and more.

Wonderful retreat from the city

I found Wandering Waterfall to be a little piece of heaven! The location across from the Mosier Plateau, along with the Mosier Creek and waterfall is quite unique. Given more time, I would have wandered down to the swimming hole near the falls and taken a dip. Aside from the splendid outdoor setting, the home is loaded with all kinds of personality in addition to being well-equipped and comfortable. Of course the children enjoyed the recreational area with a foosball table, board games, books and even a yoga mat and weights for me. I will definitely be rebooking at some point. Thanks for a sharing your lovely home.

Great Location and Views

We loved the location. Mosier is a nice quiet town, yet close enough to Hood River if wanted. Hiking trails all around. The house has lots of interesting decor which makes for a fun environment. Mornings on the deck are wonderful. Would stay there again.

Indoor/outdoor experience at this house is amazing!

The indoor/outdoor experience at this house is amazing! The Living room, kitchen, and dining areas all have views of the Gorge and Mosier waterfalls. It was so peaceful just to sit on the deck and take it all in. There is no place in the Gorge quite like it. It had everything our family of 4 needed for a comfortable stay. It’s spacious and unique - we enjoyed the funky wallpaper and creative art. We’ve stayed in a lot of rentals and this was by far the best. Easy 5 min walk into town for coffee/park/hike/winery.
