"Disappointed that the extra bed was not ready for us despite reception knowing that it was a room for 2 adults and a child at check in we had to go back to reception to get a child’s bed. The hotel says that children stay free, but that was not our experience as my friend had the room next door and she paid less using the same booking platform and we booked at the same time. "

"The room is very fine: clean, quiet, spacious, comfortable. However, there isn't a single drinking glass in the whole room and that is very inconvenient."

"We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"A very nice hotel, well maintained and located for walking to many of Trier’s attractions. The staff were friendly, parking was easy, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable, though we had to leave a window open overnight in early April or the room would have been too warm and there didn’t seem to be a way of controlling the temperature.
