Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel was pretty full with Maggot Fest participants, it was quiet at night. The free breakfast was nice. The rooms have been nicely updated. Overall, good experience.

Breakfast was okay. Toilet has a leak. No body mentioned the F-train, that blew its horn 9 times every hour from 10:30pm to 4:30am. I will never stay at a Days Inn again.

Rooms are not very soundproof. We stayed in the second building on the first floor, I could hear every footstep and movement, dragging things across the floor, in the room above us ALL night! There was breakfast but I would recommend the McDonald’s next door

Overall hotel is nice, and coffee is very good. Breakfast area was a bit dodgy, but serviceable. The nearby train-tracks issue is LEGIT, as I was awoken around 1am on first of several train's horn that passed by. There were also other exterior noises (ie. bass from a car stereo) that kept me awake most of the night; Not Ideal.

The room and lobby were clean and fit our needs. The pool is closed and seems to have been for some time, which was not advertised as such otherwise we would’ve gone for a hotel with one. The breakfast was hot and tasty, but didn’t have as much variety or quantity of food as one would expect with “buffet” advertisement. Better like Lucky Charms. We determined that our fridge was the cause of an obnoxious smell in our room although the fridge itself was clean it somehow smelled really bad.

They fail to advertise the locomotives that pass by at various times throughout the night. They do have ear plugs at no cost. No fitness center. Lousy breakfast. I will not return.

The hotel seems to be renovating, and is generally nice. Good value for what you get. The worst thing about hotels for me are lights, the hotel across the way had a very bright security light that shone in our window…not this properties fault, but not nice for me. The train noise did not bother me as much as my spouse, however the facility offered free ear plugs. We were pleasantly surprised with a yummy breakfast burrito at the breakfast! All in all it was a comfortable stay and met our requirements of a place to sleep and shower for the night. Plus, it was a convent location.

The location of this hotel can't be beat for Zootown sightseers. Everything you need is within walking distance or on the nearby bus line. A trail for dog walking is across the parking lot. Cleanliness is hit and miss. During one stay we found a drawer full of underwear and the floor turned our feet black. During another stay, no complaints. The breakfast is pretty good considering the cost of stays. Smokers gather just outside of exits, so be prepared to smell like an ashtray whether you smoke or not. Staff is adequately helpful.
