"The outside appearance and the lobby was very warm and inviting. The sitting area and bar area in the Lobby were decorated nicely. The staff were welcoming and very kind. I did pick the room with upgrade listed on Expedia and paid a little more for the upgrade but I am not sure what the upgrade was. I did not like my room very much. "Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place. Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in. "
