"Just back from a wonderful 10 days at Elounda Eleon Villas. Maria and Ilias are great hosts and Zetta a fantastic housekeeper who kept our villa spotlessly clean. Loved the location of our villa which had spectacular views to the sea. The pool was a welcome relief to the hot sun. The owners are lovely and make sure you have everything you need. "Very nice villa with everything that you need for a relaxing holiday. The village is quite but the locals are very friendly. The information about the villa and directions from the owner where helpful and nothing was a problem. You would need a car for access to the villa and to explore the island. Es war auch mal schön einfach einen Tag im Haud zu bleiben und die Ruhe im Garten zu genießen. Wir waren mit 3 Kindern dort, 1,2 und 3 Jahre alt. Da dort sehr viel dekoriert ist war das das einzige was uns den Urlaub ein wenig erschwert hat. We knew from the reviews that it was going to be great but we were not prepared for the magnificent views, the magical outdoor space and the incredible sense of privacy. "Crete is gorgeous! We did so much exploring, we didn’t spend as much time at the apartment as we thought we would. The space is small, but clean and well furnished. The private pool and surrounding views are absolutely phenomenal. I would only take off one star off due to the heat. The owner (who is lovely) has a small indoor A/C unit set it that did help, but we were there in August and it just could not keep up. We would return despite this, but in a cooler month. "
