"Good views of Mt Fuji but the place is not near any food options and reservations have to be made for buffet. I was not told this at check in and they told me they sold out of seats. They did accommodate me as a solo traveler and the food was ok. Otherwise front desk is nice. They helped me get a taxi to the train station "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all helpful and kind. The food was delicious (be prepared for A LOT of food at breakfast and dinner) and we loved our in-room onsen . The hotel is showing its age with some visible wear and tear but it didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our stay. The location can’t be beat. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you to all of the staff. "

"Property was located in a good location. We were upgraded which was a nice touch, unsure of where the free VIP Expedia gift card was located as wasn't given one. Room was large however could do with a refurb, some chipped paint and dated decor. However the stay was nice and the reception staff were friendly. Did not use the restaurant. Free parking and restaurants etc nearby but will need to drive for these. Room was clean but as mentioned could do with a refurb but wouldn't deter me returning."

"The property is a bit dated but well maintained, kept clean and in order. It worked out for our family looking for a relaxed and easygoing stay. When we walked for a morning stroll, we caught a beautiful and clear view of Mt Fuji. With rental car, we had access to a selection of restaurants, shops, and activities within the Lake Yamanakako area. But 7/11 is also just a few minute walk and the hotel offers breakfast and dinner for an affordable price. We would stay here again!"

"This hotel was the best experience we had during our 2 week tour of Japan. The service and room accommodations were outstanding. "We were very lucky to have two beautiful days/nights near Mt. Fuji on Lake Yamanaka. We couldn't go on the lake since there was a high wind advisory. It was very convenient that the hot springs bath was in the hotel. We had the brrakfast the last morning and it was wonderful."
