「Great location just outside of town. Property owner is super easy to contact and very kind. Very clean and calming place to stay. Nice back deck and picnic table by the river with plenty of room to roam in a wall kept lot. As other reviews have mentioned, I can see the issue if you have trouble with steep stairs to the bedroom, but the design of a cabin is no reason to knock down a rating, If you need handicap accessible, look for something that says it’s handicap accessible. 」

「This cozy and clean cabin in the woods was exactly what we expected. I looked forward to sipping my coffee on the porch every morning, and watching the river flow by. Some excursions we enjoyed include the Bangor Mall, a hike at Hirundo Wildlife Refuge (bring bug spray!), a show at the planetarium at UMaine, and lobster at Pepper’s Landing. 「We loved the location of this property. We have our own kayaks and we loved how easy it was to get them in and out of the water. We also enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch where there is a nice breeze coming off of the other lake across the street. The kitchen is recently renovated and the bedrooms are nice and cozy. I have also never seen a place so well stocked with firewood. Property managers are ver friendly and helpful. 10/10.」

「i have never had such a quiet time wlhen staying at a lake home. we ha d the use of kayaks and canoe to paddle on the lake. a dock to swim off deck to sun our selves. our daughter and our grand children were with us. they went hiking at arcadia park and at baxter state park. but the camp made the whole thing it was just as advertised.」

「The host was willing to provide what we needed promptly and we appreciated his quick response. The property needs air conditioning in the upstairs.
