Are you looking for a quiet retreat to rejuvenate your spirit with nature surrounding you in the woods? Do you want to escape from the city within minutes? We are located minutes from downtown Rogue River.

Come experience the nearby wild Rogue River's recreation area, the fresh woodland smells and wildlife surrounding you! Our cozy mountain hideaway is the perfect spot to come enjoy nature and the mountain views. You may see deer, wild turkeys, fox or other animals coming to the pond for a drink. Or sit by the fire pit listening to frogs and crickets at night while eating smores.

Wonderful and peaceful.
I would recommend staying here if you love to avoid the business of the city. You’ll be surrounded by nature. Everything one would need has been thought of. The cottage is neat and clean. Thanks Rosie for the delicious vegetable soup and fresh bread.

Great stay, awesome hospitality!
Rosies cozy cottage is in one word awesome. Everything was just right. Rosie has been the sweetest host we encountered on our trip and the cottage has just everything and more. Filled fridge, nice warm dinner upon arrival, and the best of it: nice area outside where you could sit, and even encounter wildlife. This was our second time in the cabbn, highly recommend!

Beautiful and quiet getaway
My girlfriend and I had the most amazing experience. The cabin is so cozy and the fresh bread and soup on arrival just felt like home! Hummingbirds around us all the time and deer visits in the afternoon. Everything was perfect. We 100% plan to come back!

Beautiful setting. The Cabin is comfy and beautifully decorated. There are numerous "extras". This amazing host has thought of everything and more. This is the best VRBO property we have ever booked. This was our second visit and won't be our last.

Rosie's was a perfect vacation cabin! She thought of everything and the grounds were so beautiful. Flowers and birds and fresh morning air! I am in love with Rosie's property. She provided DVDs, ingredients for s'mores, and had a fire pit ready to go. We even saw a herd of deer. This spot was perfect for adults looking to relax and enjoy nature. Kids might feel a little cramped, so come prepared with things to keep little hands busy. The bathroom was a wee bit small, but very usable. 5 stars are not enough for Rosie's place. It was fantastic.

Peaceful Paradise
This peaceful cabin has become our annual (sometimes bi-annual) place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy self-care time. Rosie greeted us when we arrived and gave us an update on what’s new around the property. We could smell the homemade bread while walking up the stairs and her famous veggie soup is the perfect way to wind down from a long drive. This property is a little oasis. We’ve enjoyed many nights star gazing by the fire pit, swinging on the hammock, bird watching and even woke up to snow top mountains on a past trip. It’s also a great location to enjoy activities within the Grants Pass area, Medford and beyond. On this trip we checked out a few antiques stores in Grants Pass and then took a beautiful drive on highway 238 to Jacksonville. We stopped at Pennington Farms for some baked goods and enjoyed a delicious lunch at La Fiesta Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville. Rosie’s heart overflows with kindness and she makes every stay more special than the last. We are blessed and grateful that she continues to share her slice of heaven with us! We feel the love. See you soon 😊

Lovely Home
Rosie couldn't have been more welcoming. Her cabin is cozy, inviting and she certainly thought of everything! From homemade soup and bread upon our arrival, to all the little extras in the kitchen. If you forgot it she probably had it stocked for you. The setting was lovely and very peaceful in the evening. We even got to go for a short hike on her property. Rosie answered questions we had about the local area and made herself available without invading our space. Thank you so much for providing a comfortable, cozy place for us to spend our anniversary!

Quiet Hillside Retreat Perfect for Relaxing
I had a great time staying at Rose’s guest cottage. Her property was remote and extremely relaxing, and I greatly enjoyed reading and napping on the hammock. There are a number of great spot to go to close by, and Crater lake is a few hours away. I would highly recommend it!

Perfect Little Cabin
This is the perfect place for one or two people looking to have a quiet and peaceful stay! The cabin is lovely, very clean, and stocked with everything you might need and then some. Such a relaxing spot with only the sound of the pond and nature, yet various towns nearby should you want to explore.

The cabin, or should I say tiny house was so great, everything was there, every detail was thought of. Rosie was always a text away and provided us with local tips. The bed was great, the welcoming soup and chili even bettet. Sitting in the sun / shade and unwinding in the hammock really got us relaxed. So great! Thanks so much for your hospitality, Rosie. Amazing property

My friend and I did a girl's getaway and we couldn't have found a more perfect place as a home base!!! Rosie is beyond amazing. To simply describe the property as having beautiful furnishings and tasteful decor, falls far too short. It does not take into account the warmth and welcoming spirit Rosie is for her guests. I could go on and on singing the praises of both Rosie and her sublime surroundings, however her reviews exhibit just how fantastic a listing her place is. When you do book her place (as you should) consider visiting Schmidt vineyards and also Red Lily vineyards as well as local farms and waterfalls. There is much to appreciate in this lovely region!

Reset-Relax-Rejunenate at this Woodland Paradise
Rosie is the sweetest and most devoted host with a passion to make your visit a magical experience. We’ve become very fond of Rosie and her paradise and have been visiting every 6 months since March of 2021. Our drive from CA is six hours and arriving to a cabin filled with the smell of fresh baked bread and homemade soup is a special treat after a long drive. The accommodations are excellent, bed is comfy and sitting around the fire pit gazing at the moon and stars is so peaceful. And you can even see the moon and stars while laying in bed…majestic! Rosie, thank you for sharing your paradise with us! See you soon :-)
