“A well located hotel in quiet location. Ample car parking, some with electric car charging points. Easy to find reception entrance and greeted by a pleasant and efficient member of staff. Every where looked relatively new and clean accommodation was on the first floor accessed by stairs. Rooms were numbered clearly and the Smart key entrance was easy to use. Bedroom was well presented with a large comfy bed, 2 easy chairs and dressing table/desk, tea & coffee set on a tray. The only criticism……

“Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall……

“Had a brilliant weekend stay here, in a great location for visiting the shops in surrounding towns & adventuring in the beautiful Peak District. The room was a great size and the bathroom was huge! Lots of storage space for clothes too. Pretty sure we got an upgrade from what I had originally booked too! Everything was clean and the room was cleaned while we were out during the day. Breakfast was included in the booking and was very nice, with lots of choice and great service. Would definitely……
