Hotel a conseiller pour un court sejour a Matanzas

Je n'ai fait qu'une nuit le temps d'une escale. L'etablissement est confortable et propre et le personnel est super : a notre service, la pour aider, poli et souriant. Hotel bien situé au centre de Matanzas mais un peu bruyant.

The property is in the main square, so is in a perfect location. Walkable to all places of interest and restaurants/bars. The room was not bad. Bathrooms needs slight attention. The rooms could do with a bit more lighting. If you have a room facing the square, you will have a nice view, but you will encounter traffic noise and fumes, as the rooms have large shutters and no windows. Breakfast is nice, and the staff are very friendly and pleasant.

Great Hotel

This hotel has fantastic staff, always friendly and helpful. Restaurant, lobby and other public areas always clean and presentable. Room was spacious and served our needs perfectly. Air Conditioning was in very good working order. Will definitely stay again!!

This hotel is beautiful! Located on a quiet, shady square, across the street from the Apothecary Museum (in complete seriousness don't miss it), close to a couple of good restaurants and has street parking and working wifi in the lobby. The period furnishings, high ceilings and original tiles make this hotel feel like you're stepping back in time. The receptionists were helpful and kind. We were able to get late check-out which made it the perfect place to visit the beaches. A great place to come back to after a day of snorkeling at Playa Coral and enjoying the beaches at Varadero.

Old property in the main square. I did an official site seeing tour of the city and found this hotel was one of the places visited. Excellent public area and restaurant. Breakfast and dinner were both very good and the staff were very helpful. The room was acceptable but rather small and had no direct light ie no window.

Colonial hotel in the heart of Matanzas

Beautiful, colonial hotel in the heart of Matanzas. We were welcomed with the non-alcoholic version of their own cocktail. Very tasty! Not all rooms have large windows so we opted for the upgrade. However, these rooms face the busy square in front of the hotel. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to take ear plugs with you for this site of the hotel. The hotel has a great restaurant with very reasonable prices, so please do eat there! For desserts, take a look at all the various pastries on display at the cocktail bar. They're all very delicious. The hotel has a shaded, quiet patio at the back of the first floor. Recommended for relaxing after a long stroll through the city. Another good place to get away from the hustle and bustle is Calle 97, the quai along the San Juan river. This is a newly renovated area with park benches and art galleries (3-4 blocks from the hotel).

Comfortable stay in the centre of Mantanzas

Really cool hotel and the place to stay in Mantanzas. The hotel is well maintained and renovated with only 17 rooms, even though that our room had no windows. The lobby is fantastic and has an air of long gone times. The hotel is located right at the central square, very conveniently.

Hôtel plutôt agréable, encore dans son jus, un peu vieillot. Comme partout dans le pays très peu de client dans l’hotel. Personnel agréable. Par contre pour le parking s’il y a de la place tant mieux sinon tant pis pour vous !

lovely ambiance, good food and perfect location to visit Matanzas. balcony room is a must! rooms are slightly shabby and not super clean, but overall quite a nice hotel.
