「We had a lovely stay in this rustic Cape Breton cottage! The building itself is quite old, and shows its character. It was good for three people, but would be tight for a family or larger group. There's no direct beach access, but it's a 2 minute drive away (or less), and the water was beautiful. Note that any major shopping or necessities will have to be gotten in Sydney, about half an hour away, so plan for that. 「When visiting the impressive Louisbourg Fortress I wanted a quiet place away from noisy hotels and I found it. Excellent place to stay above 45 minutes away from the fortress but in the boonies. It’s a small cabin, rustic but with shower, hot water, kitchen, fridge, stove and a cozy bed. The screened in gazebo deck was super nice separating me from the voracious mosquitos. 「The property is beautiful and very peaceful! It is incredibly private and away from everything. We especially loved using the hot tub and the kayaks. We are missing the view and the peacefulness already! The house and exterior is very well designed to fit the setting.The bed is comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. 「The property is spacious, clean and very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and reconnecting with family who have recently moved to Cape Breton. A good time had by all. Beautiful place situated on a very nice part of the Mira River.」

「We had a wonderful relaxing time. After spending four days exploring the area, it was a treat to jump into the whirlpool. One evening counting the stars, the next listening to the waves crash against the stones as the sun was setting. Another enjoying the Ocean mist swirl around us, and our last evening as the moon rose above the tree tops, it's reflection shimmering on the water.
