“The place was beautiful, so much greenery and such a spacious, lush area. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Dennis was amazing and made efforts to help us with what we needed! Breakfast at the cafe was great at the Evergreen. The food at One Fishing Place Floating restaurant was decent, but wasn’t too appetizing. However, I would say the staff made the stay memorable. Will definitely come back!”

“It was a satisfied journey with the beaches, food and service. We stayed for 3 nights and still feel like taking more days relaxing. The food was really nice as well. However, since we can only stay in the resort for meals, restaurant's menus are the highly similar, and we get tired of having pizzas and pasta last day. And also the food are a bit over price. Also, everything cost extra was a bit unpleasant, i.e. towel rental/ lockers. But overall a very nice experience staying over. Glad to……

“I had some meetings in Calaca and decided to stay the night in Canyon Woods. I was not expecting much from previous reviews and I was surely IMPRESSED with what I saw. Check In was very efficient with knowledgeable staff. The room itself was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning which is a must was strong and cool. The best thing about this hotel is the view during sunrise. You get a glimpse of the sun with the Taal Lake as your background. The breakfast was plated but……

“It has potential but some of the areas were not available not because it’s unfinished but they make it open only for private function. (Ei:Mini Japan) The employees are kind and friendly but the staff at their Amare Restaurant wasn’t so helpful and friendly m. The rooms are nice but some areas are unclean most especially the swimming pool which is so important that they should keep clean. There are too much mosquitoes as well! “The hotel, like most of the hotels in Tagaytay, is facing the crater lake. But the international hotel chain has been a great disappointment to me. First of all, for the time I found my Deposit box in my room is wrong; secondly, the hotel is very old, air conditioning noise is very serious will let you hard to sleep for the whole night； finally, encountered two problems so serious, obviously there are other rooms in the premise, and the reaction I they did not mean to change the room.”

“Owners and staff were fantastic and showed a care for my wife and I that is rare to see in this day and age. The surroundings showed a natural beauty of these mountains. It’s not walking distance to any city but there are trikes and jeepneys around to take you where you want to go if you don’t have your own transportation. We will be staying here again the next time we visit”

“I’ve stayed in many places around the world the space is perfect, it is very spacious and accommodating. My room was excellent for relaxation, especially being use to climate back home. Having the air con made it very comfortable. I was only there for one night and had an early check out but I could see that staying for a longer duration would be very easy to do.
