This centrally-located, clean and well-maintained condo at St. Moritz Villas in Mammoth Lakes, California has everything for your getaway. With three floors, this large 2 bedroom plus double loft unit gives everyone space to spread out. It's conveniently located in the center of town with a shuttle stop steps from the front door.
St. Moritz Villas is a great location during all seasons. In winter, you are a mile from Eagle Lodge and The Village (1.2 miles) that can be easily reached using the convenient Green/Purple Line shuttles with a shuttle stop right in front of the complex (stop #46). For those heavy snow winter days, there is no need to drive as you can easily walk to the grocery store, restaurants, and entertainment (all within a half-mile). A very large recreation room provides activities for everyone with a pool table, air hockey, ping pong, TV and wireless internet.
The outdoor jacuzzi spa and adjacent indoor sauna can be enjoyed year round. The complex's park-like setting in summer will keep you from wanting to leave, with grassy areas perfect for kids, Adirondack chairs and picnic tables, communal BBQs, and a heated swimming pool. You are neighbors to Sierra Star Golf Course and walking distance to Mammoth Creek Park. Additionally, there is endless hiking, biking and fishing to be enjoyed minutes away.
This convenient and desirable condo has all the comforts of home with a well-stocked kitchen with new granite countertops, three TVs, and plenty of games. A washer and dryer are located in the unit for convenience during longer stays. There is wireless internet (Wi-Fi) in the unit. Two unassigned parking spots are available to guests.
Main Living Room Area: The living room has a 55" TV with an open floor plan to the kitchen and dining area with a table that seats 8 people. There is a centrally located pellet fireplace (easy to use and fuel provided) to cozy up to while curled up on the couch and stay warm after a day of fun.
Loft Area: The main loft has a twin bed with trundle and a TV. There is also a game table so that everyone can spread out to watch TV or play games outside of the living room area - perfect for kids. Doors and windows close to give the loft area some privacy and quiet separation from the rest of the house. A second upper loft has an additional full bed and twin with trundle bed.
Mammoth is a perfect family spot all year. With cascades falling through almost every forest and canyon, Mammoth Lakes is a place where you can truly chase waterfalls. Rainbow Falls offers the most dramatic scene, with falls plunging at 100 feet and the sun often reflecting a rainbow through the mist from the falls. The 250 foot Twin Falls is set off of a cliff and the surrounding landscape makes a great place for a picnic or leisurely hike. After chasing waterfalls, make sure to stop and see Devils Postpile National Monument. This unique geological structure features thousands of hexagonal basalt columns formed 100,000 years ago when lava flow slowed and then cooled and cracked. Not far from Mammoth is Reno, Nevada and Yosemite National Park. This area is a natural wonderland for everyone!
