Makarska Riviera Bar Hotel

"Couldn’t ask for a more perfect location. Staff are all wonderful and will do their best to provide excellent service. Food is always lovely. Relaxing areas to sit and drink wine or coffee both inside and outside.Rooms and suites are kept clean and to a high standard. Mini bar stocked with lots of choices of drinks, mixers, wine, beer, snacks - both sweet and savoury. Room service is excellent too. Balcony with our suite was fantastic; spacious with sun loungers, chairs and tables. Beautiful views of the sea and the pine trees. A stones throw from lovely cafes, bars, small shops, post office, supermarkets and harbour. Set in between Makarska and Brela which are both a lovely walk. Reception are happy to arrange tours and trips or taxi services to almost anywhere: highly recommended are Split, Bosnia, Vineyard Wine tasting. The indoor pool is contemporary in design and has two whirlpools next to it also as well as loungers and towels provided for guests. The spa treatments are excellent and highly recommended, the staff are fantastic, so friendly and deliver amazing treatments. The hair salon is also excellent and has lovely staff. We have gone several times to this hotel and are never disappointed. Can’t wait to visit next year. "

"Amazing Makarska beachside hotel with lovely refreshing pool and seconds away from long pebble beach along which there were loads of restaurants and bars. Had good size beautifully positioned seaview balcony with agave-style plants overlooking the pool and the sea. We booked half board option and had great buffet food for breakfast and evening. Had not known how full of eating options this area was, but no regrets as high food standards at hotel ! Makarska was a thriving place with a great old town, harbour with boat trips etc, and great coastal paths (eg.we walked to Tucepi one day."

"We stayed for 3 for our 25th wedding anniversary. It is in a good location at the end of the promenade, the hotel itself is clean and the staff helpful. The only small issues were, getting a lounger in the pool area is tricky, and the airconditioning unit in our room could not cope with the heatwave and could not get below 25 degrees, however the staff provided a large fan the following day, which helped cool things down to 22 degrees."

"Difficult check in and out. Wanted pool towels and had to go back to check in and put deposit which is understandable but once again had to go to main desk and wait. They could have told us when we checked in. Also, had to call for them to lower temperature in room. They did but it was still hot."

"Wonderful location on the beautiful Dalmatia coastline. Hotel was well catered and had good facilities - great for families. "
