As we walked in to check in, the front desk lady was rude and had no people skills whatsoever. She was trying to go on break and we were needing to get our room. With a frown and a tone not warranted, she said, "I swear, every time I try to go on break, somebody walks in!" And, there were all of 3 cars in the parking lot. Look, I'm sorry that you have a job to do and are overwhelmed by the amount of people staying at your hotel, but it's called a J.O.B. that you are paid to do. It was really kind of comicle to my wife and me because it took all of 5 minutes to check in. Now to the room...A/C got cold, water was hot and rooms were clean which was great! But, round seated toilets need to be replaced by elongated toilets for sanitary reasons, the beds are hard and I guess that's great if you like that, but we don't. Last, but not least, I totally wish I could post the sign from the morning breakfast that was on the wall because...WOW! Never have I seen a hotel that offers free breakfast, complain about what you eat and what you're limited to and maybe it's been abused at one time or another, but the sign was just petty. Oh, and the indoor pool was shut and out of order, but looked just fine. Anyhow, it was just a one night stay and probably wouldn't stay here again unless it was an emergency. Management or Best Western needs to look into these issues.
