While the years have taken their toll on all of historic Lynchburg, you can tell that this was once the grande dame of the city. The staff was so friendly and super accommodating to my needs during my stay, as I was trying to take care of a relative. I will definitely stay here again!

Did not like that the side door was unlocked all night even though the sign said it would close. Front desk staff was on the guest computer, not watching lobby area. There was a man lingering in the hallway on my floor and made me feel very unsafe. Run down parking garage next to hotel with a lot of garbage. Bathroom floor was dirty and so was the shower. AC unit wasn't working properly.

The property is older but in great condition and in a good location. The parking is easy and off street located in a garage on the side of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Convenient to restaurants & theater. This hotel is a great location. Parking is free next to the hotel. This is an older hotel with potential. There is a gorgeous bar and restaurant area but is not open. Room was clean. It did take quite a while 8-10 min for the water to get hot for the shower.

We stayed at this Hotel with a group of people. One of the rooms were filthy so they went to the front desk and ask to get another room. The hotel did not have any rooms available, so they had to sleep outside in our van. About 4am there were guys going around with ski masks pulling on the door handles of vehicles within the garage.

Property was very nice. Front Desk Personnel were very personable. Lady working at night was very helpful. Parking garage was full due to event across the street. She opened the gate to the parking lot next to hotel so I could park. Room was clean mostly, some dusty areas, but nothing to complain about. Was a comfortable stay.

This hotel was lower cost than other area hotels, and garage parking was free, so that was good. Not luxury, but ok place to sleep. My room phone and internet in the room didn't work, and the swing bar door lock was partially broken off my door which was a bit concerning. I mentioned the room phone and internet to the staff and was told that the wires were in the walls so they couldn't do anything about it. The hotel needs a refresh for sure.
