「Our-of-the-way and right on golf course. Very quiet (except for mowing of greens). We had 18 people at maximum occupancy, with beds for almost everyone, and even then, the place didn't seem crowded. We all fit around inside table and outside table, at fire pit (and near grill), for much reminiscing (this was a memorial trip). Three bathrooms, thankfully, not two, and they are well-appointed; true, we had to make a TP run (and also to get coffee filters), but otherwise the place was well-stocked....

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mermaid Cove! It is located next door to a great walking/bike trail. Everything inside and outside was clean. The refrigerator water stream was reeeeealllly slow, but that was only a minor inconvenience. Be prepared to be fascinated by all the ways the owners have incorporated mermaids and mermaid colors in every aspect of the decor and details.」

「Great place to stay located near Arcata. Many things to do in reasonable driving distance. My favorite area is the kitchen, with a great large table. Living room area very comfortable! Yard was serene and beautiful like in the pictures. Beds were OK, but they need a bit of updating. The unit as a whole needs some attention. Broken window in kitchen, regular wear noted throughout the unit. Hot tub was very satisfactory after the first night. It was a little cool the first night. Bathroom...

「Stayed here for a week in the summer with the family. Location is pretty good. Quiet little street with a partial view of the bay. House is nice, clean and functional. Short drive to old town Eureka and Arcata where the fun/interesting stuff is. Great hub to visit surrounding redwoods, lagoons, nature around here. Very convenient to the zoo/sky walk which the kids loved. 」
