"I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I stayed two nights at this hotel and had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the first night. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, the employees had great smiles and service, and the food was delicious. On the second day, I had trouble finding a taxi to go to a restaurant in the next city due to the rainy weather, but to my surprise, the hotel staff gave me a lift to the restaurant. "Easy walk from the train station. Great price. Our window was broken, which in France in the summer is not good, but since we weren't there long, I didn't ask to be moved. Close to the ocean, so dinner at the hotel, outside with the ocean breeze, was lovely. The staff was great, with one fluent English speaker, so a big plus if you don't speak French. Other than the window, the room was fine and all we needed. "

"Nice, Clean, Quiet, Modern Hotel for a stopover in Brest. We were touring around the Brittany Coast, and we stayed here for one night, on our way from Morlaix, en route to Quimper. This hotel has all you would expect from a Mercure. Location-wise, it is a 5 mins drive / 15 mins walk from the city centre, and the start of the cafes (recommend Kafé Kanggui), coffee shops & shopping area that begins on Rue Louis Pasteur and runs up Rue Jean Jaurès. "

"This was a good location. I stayed here with my mom. We found it convenient to walk into downtown from the hotel. I was happy that there was free off street parking. That was the deciding factor me in the end. The front desk provided excellent service. Every question I had, they were gracious and helpful. There are a few cosmetic issues - peeling plaster or paint in the shower in one room and a broken bedside light in the other, but the nice location and parking lot parking mattered WAY...

While the entrance area and staircase still look impressive, the room was in poor repair, with a dated 1980s/90s feel. However, it was spacious, with a Nespresso coffee machine and two BBC English channels. The breakfast room was grim and the food average. Overall, too expensive for the poor quality. The hotel desperately needs money spending on it."
