「This was probably the weirdest hotel experience in my life. The huge manor has been converted to a hotel but has been neglected recently (including a time housing asylum seekers - Google it). The time around 10 of the 100+ rooms are being used so you “rattle around” especially when you’re the only guests!! The hotel needs investment but it has so much potential and you can imagine it being a thriving hotel in the past. Imagine Covid and only a few rooms allowed to open. We knew there were no...

「We didn’t stay - after a 350 mile drive we arrived to find it very firmly closed. Ironic you send this questionnaire after your reservations person (based, unhelpful,y, in Arizona) spent over an hour and a half on the day getting us alternative accommodation.」

「Average hotel with a great access to a pool, steam room & sauna. Good bar with a good selection of drinks. Room was nice enough with a jacuzzi bath but the bed was too soft for me. Cobwebs in room, corridors & restaurant. Breakfast was ok but basic. It wasn’t expensive so fine for what we paid. It could do with a good clean and a lick of paint. 」
