Kauai - Outrigger property

The property owner/manager has done any communication, checkin was very difficult since no one could get in touch with property manager. Incorrect room position, we booked ocean front and it was given other side with no view. We have to clean our own trash, really after paying more money than regular hotel. We checked the actual resort correct rates and they were 30% less with absolutely no service. I would recommend everyone not to use this service. Very unhappy and no communication. We were even treated differently at the front desk too but the GM of the resort and property was very helpful and supportive.

I wasn't expecting it to be THAT AMAZING!!!! The photos of the property when booked did not do it justice. Friendly staff, beautiful sunrise over the water, 2 Jacuzzis and one with a waterfall. I can go on and on. Best vacation ever!!!

Great place!

Great value for room, location, and resort! Absolutely beautiful. Only thing I would say is pack your own toiletries and maybe an extra towel or two as we started running low on towels toward the end of our 6 night trip as there is not turndown service provided and the resort does not replenish towels for you! Food was great and the resort staff was incredible as well. You will not beat these costs on the island!!

Room was clean but didn’t give us enough toilet paper, soap or shampoo for the weeks stay. Kleenex only had 5 tissues left and we had to empty our trash and had no place to put it except for another small waste basket down the hall. Towels were sour smelling. We paid for a cleaning fee .

Beautiful Beach Side Resort

The location is great and central to activities in Kauai. The pools are awesome as well as the in-resort restaurants. My only complaint was that the toilet handle needed repair when we arrived.

This is my first experience with VRBO The owner of the unit is friendly making the visit delightful and responds immediately to any questions Room was beyond what I expected very roomy with all the amenities and a beautiful garden & Mountain View I will make this my home each time I visit the island The entire staff at KBR go above and beyond to make sure your experience is a great one, it is very evident they love their jobs as well as their guests Nothing is short of spectacular the food is amazing, grounds and all pool areas have the same quality of service I had the pleasure of making some new friends in the employees I do hope that any reviews or semi negative comments are taken with no merit Thank You Kauai Beach Resort for 11 wonderful days Mahalo Carol C

Good but be aware.

The Room is as quality as you would expect for the price, it is well kept, clean and comfortable, the resort location to the beach is great and good value. Be aware that if you are staying at the resort with a Hire car, there is a parking fee of around $20 US per day! that isn't mentioned in the listing. We were stung by this and our booking cost an additional $240US just to park our car (which is also about 2-300mtrs from the resort entry). On top of this charge don't expect to use the courtesy shuttle to and from the airport, we had to drop our hire car off a day early at the airport, and the resort refused to pick us up from the airport and drop us off for our flight the following day (a 5 min drive) even when the shuttle was not booked for other persons, and we had paid their car parking fee. We had to ask a favour of another guest to drop us to the airport at 5am as taxi's wouldn't come on time. As it is a privately owned room, the resort doesn't offer room cleaning (which was fine) though they charge $5 US for rubbish disposal.. ( Really?? ) This is more an issue with the resort than it is the owner of the room, but as the stay is all location based, it did seem as poor service from the resorts end. Other than that the room and location are fanstasic.

Very nice place

Aqua Kauai Beach Resort is a nice place. Parking is somewhat a distant walk but what can be done? The pools and multiple hot tubs are beautiful. Live music was awesome. Food was really good. Of course everything is Island inflated prices.

Nice place to stay

I enjoyed our stay at the Kauai Beach Resort. The parking price seemed somewhat steep given where to park and that they have plenty of room, but overall it was a nice resort. The room balcony overlooks the front of the resort, but there was no trouble from any auto noise in the hotel driveway. The resort was very quiet and in a nice location. It was nice being able to walk right out to the beach. The resort is centrally located on the island so driving either direction works fairly well. Seemed like a good price compared to other places I had checked.

Good bang for your buck.

This resort was worth the price. It is not the best resort on the island, but has great pools and is close to Lihue, the airport, and nice beaches. No complaints with our stay--it was as advertised. Probably one of the best resort deals on the island.
