With views of Downtown Frankfort, guests are within walking distance of downtown, the Military Museum, and other local attractions. Only minutes away from the State Capital, Castle & Key, Buffalo Trace, KY Bourbon Trail and KSU. For all history lovers, this home is just seconds away from the Frankfort Cemetery where you will find many Kentucky Legends, such as Daniel Boone.

Located in the Heart of Frankfort. The Bourbon Drop is surrounded by history. The aerial shots showcase the proximity of this rental to the Kentucky River, State Capital, Downtown Frankfort, and Kentucky Military History Museum.

Parking:

Guests will have access to only one parking spot at this unit. Parking will be in the rear of the house, where guest will travel down a few steps to the back door of this unit.

Where Bourbon and Politics run free, is where you will find The Bourbon Drop. This unit features vinyl plank floors and wireless internet. The left hand side of this duplex, Bourbon Drop has two cozy bedrooms, one featuring a queen bed and the second features a full. Bourbon on the Hill also offers guests a full kitchen, washer & dryer, living room views to Downtown Frankfort, and just a short commute to live like a local and experience all of Kentucky's finest. An iron and ironing board come with this unit for all of those important events and photos. Residents will enjoy heat and air conditioning during their stay. Your Booking does not include the 4% local Frankfort Occupancy and Transit Tax. This will be sent as an additional request upon approval of booking. While this property is pet friendly, all guests must have their pets pre- approved and pet fees may apply. The Bourbon Drop allows guests an easy commute by foot or car to many desired attractions.

Elderly warning

The place was decorated nicely and clean. Small but was great. Now my criticism 1 the steps to get into and out of the house were difficult for us in our late 60s and 70s. No real comfortable outside and the bathtub was slick. The 24 hour notice of the information about the stay was not prompt. The place was close to so much and we had a wonderful time..

Nice house in a central location. We didn’t have to go far to hit distilleries or good food. We enjoyed a short visit but it was jam packed with enjoyment. We enjoyed Buffalo, Castle and Key and the amazing Woodford. Thanks!

Very Nice

Cute little place. Super clean and really nice thoughtful amenities (extra pillows, throws on the bed, nice towels, laundry detergent). Nicely decorated to fit the area theme too! Conveniently located to borboun trail locations, sightseeing, and dining. Would recommend definitely and would stay again. One word of caution , if you have any mobility issues the shower could be a disadvantage as it is slightly elelvated and the tub covering can be slick. Thanks for sharing your place!

Frankford Fun for 4th of July

The property is pretty delapodated on the outside could use some major repairs. The walkway/stairway from the parking area is very rough and hard to navigate. The biggest issue was that we arrived at 5pm(check-in time was 3pm) to find the door code did not work and the cleaner was still there cleaning. Happy they were cleaning the property however still being there 2 hours after the check-in time was not ideal after driving 13 hours. The interior was as expected and the kitchen had your basic needs.

I doubt this review will ever go anywhere, since the listing had been removed; but, I also doubt the unit was cleaned before we checked in. There were wet towels in the bathtub, and a bag of trash sitting in the kitchen. my guess is the sheets probably weren’t changed either. I consider this the bare minimum, so..super disappointing.

easy check-in

It was very easy to reserve and check-in. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The allley way to the parking spot is very narrow. I had trouble getting out of my parking spot. the people in the other house was parked on one side and there was a car parked behind them in the alley. I had to room to back out.

We booked and fully paid for this unit to find someone else in our unit upon arrival, they booked through another rental provider. The owner has failed to give us our money back and has been stringing us along without a solution to a full credit. They basically ruined our vacation. Be careful booking this unit.

Weekend Stay at the Bourbon Drop

We had a great time! Check in was easy, was great place stay for a couple nights. Have a few bars/ restaurants in walking distance. Parking is very tight if you have a larger vehicle . I would stay here again.

Perfect Location

Very convenient location and close to everything downtown. Owners very responsive. Place is just as advertised and great view over the city at night. It was comfortable and more than enough space for my wife and I. We were mostly going to distilleries and such but this was easy to park and then grab dinner. We would stay here again!

Quaint little space

Overall the place was well kept and pretty clearn, location was it is easy to get to and really close to buffalo trace which was a must for us. There were a few issues with our stay, which it was right after thanksgiving so I am sure things were missed or forgotten due to that. However, what was disappointing was that we arrived and found a dead mouse in the kitchen sink and we were not able to connect to the wifi at first, which all of this really wouldn't have bothered me as much (again mice can happen anywhere things happen with wifi), but when i messaged the host when we arrived I received no response that day and didn't get one until the following day after I sent a 3rd message. Once they responded they were sincere and apologized. I again respect that we checked in at the end of the holiday weekend, but I think that was the only thing bothered us when we arrived. The house was very clean and well kept, it is a small and cozy place, the neighborhood doesnt look the greatest, but inside it is done really well and I love that there were smart tvs in all of the bedrooms, it was nice to curl up in bed and watch movies in the evenings. Only other note, is that I would not recommend taking a truck or larger SUV, the parking spot is small and not a lot of room for getting in and out, esepcially if there is ever another person staying in the unit attached to this one. We were lucky that no one was staying there, because we had a truck (nothing huge, just a 2019 silverado) and getting in and out was tricky at times. I did love that there was a board when you walk in with all of the past visitors who have left notecards or put their distillery tags up there as well. It was fun to read all of the personal notes people have left there which just shows how many people have visited here and had a great time! ☺ Overall i do want to say it is a nice play to stay if you are looking for a good place to stay and do the Bourbon Trail or visit the Frankfort area.

Great location!

This property was very clean and had a lot of space. The street that the house is on and the alley you park off of is pretty run down and some of the neighbors have boarded up windows. The house is a quick walk from the downtown area which has a lot to do and is a quick drive away from Buffalo Trace which is a must stop spot. Overall good stay
