「Wonderful thoughtful hosts. More than average amenities. They thought of all the little things to make our stay comfortable. Very cute little cottage and great location for our purposes. Definitely need a car though. Really good food at the pub and convenient to have a little store right next door. 」

「Spacious, comfortable cottage on a quite road within walking distance of the shops and eateries of Oakham. Rutland Water is a short drive away with its famous Ospreys, the main reason for our visit doWater us a very short drive away」

「Great stay but not entirely suitable for a wheelchair. Had to remove the rims from my chair and two small steps inside were a bit annoying but nevertheless we will be back. Booking agent fee was excessive adding almost £100 to the cost」

「Was a big scare when we reached the apartment and found out this was no one there for check in & no instruction sent before our arrival. In this remote location, the mobile connection is bad and I luckily able connected to WiFi in an indian Resturant. Found an old email thread, replied to it and luckily i received a Uk phone number to call for self check in instruction. Felt quite worried at the beginning with my wife and boys and about where we sleep . Not a good experience 」

「We were met with a warm welcome and introduction to everything we needed. A lovely home baked loaf of bread too. Very comfortable and well equipped stay, thank you. 」

「Good points - very dog friendly, easily accessible shared garden area, comfy bed, powerful shower, excellent curry delivered from next door Niggles - large green light permanently on in the ceiling, flooded the whole room with a green glow that kept us awake. Very thin walls which are not great when the guests in the neighbouring room stay up until 2am, no ventilation (no window to open) so very stuffy even in December」

「One of the nicest rental properties we have ever stayed at! Joanne’s property was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated and just a few minutes walk from central Stamford. Joanne was very attentive and house was well equipped. Would love to come back again! 」

「Aldi Morrisons and McDonald's are a couple of mins drive. Restaurants and shops 10 mins slow walk but car park also near by shops. Comfortable stay, we used as a base for biking 15 miles round Rutland water. Double bedroom on ground floor with toilet by the door. Then another double on top floor with ensuite shower room. A twin room and a bunk bed room with main bath room and over bath shower. Very good for large families. We didn't use the kitchen because chippy was also good near by. 」
