「This house is all about the view! Huge picture windows frame Saratoga Passage, where on our last night we saw an eagle on the beach and a harbor seal in the water. Host Karrie is extremely responsive; she answered our myriad questions quickly. We cooked several meals in the fully equipped kitchen. It’s a quick 15-minute drive to the town of Langley. 「Our party of seven - four adults and two children was there for only one night. This property had plenty of room, was well furnished with older pieces, and all four bedrooms were more than adequate. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Access to downstairs two bedrooms and living area was via a fairly steep stairwell. Biggest issue was the lack of HVAC which made sleeping in the warm weather difficult, even with floor fans.」

「We all loved the location and view from the house! Luckily I caught that the double beds were quite small to hold 2 adults in the photos and contacted Anne. I’m glad I did! She provided a queen air mattress which we used. The double beds may be able to hold 2 small children, but would be too small for 2 adults. There were a quite a few spiders and nails in the floor so watch out!」

「We booked this house because of its proximity to friends who live on the island and the views, as shown in the listing. The house is well stocked and the views are gorgeous. Many reviews comment on how old the house it is, but I found it in great shape/ functional and clean. It also has a special beach charm. My only concern is that the “kid’s room” has its own entrance/ exit. We used outdoor chairs to “barricade” the door at night to ensure safety while sleeping. An exterior lock would be nice...
